| Asthma Clinic |
| Patients can be seen by Sister Davenport, by appointment and referral from their GP |
| Child Health Checks |
| Child Health Checks on development are the responsibility of the G.P. The doctor seen during the pregnancy will normally do the 6 week check, the Health Visitor does the rest up to 5 years of age. |
| Diabetic Clinic |
| Diabetic Patients should be seen in the Diabetic Clinic on Tuesday afternoons. Appointments by arrangements only. |
| Dietitian |
| The Dietitian is seen by referral from the G.P. or Practice Nurse, and the advice is not just for weight loss. She also manages high cholesterol, diabetes, pregnancy and other problems from a dietary point of view. |
| Family Planning |
| Drs. Royle and Llewellyn and Dixon are trained for Family Planning, and can organise any of the pill or injection methods, the coil or the cap."Morning after" methods are also provided when necessary. |
| Ladies Health |
| Cervical Smears are usually booked with the Practice Nurse by appointment only. |
| Minor Surgery |
| Minor surgery is actively practised in our well equipped, modern treatment room with a nurse assisting the G.P involved. This is performed by prior appointment only. |
| Pregnancy Care |
| The Doctors will advise aboutpre-pregnancy health matters. Drs Royle, Dixon & Llewellyn practice antenatal and postnatal care, shared with the hospital (usually Leighton or Chester. Attend first between 7 and 10 weeks if possible. The Midwife is present in the surgery on Tuesdays from 2.00pm to do some of the routine checks. She will normally take your initial blood tests (You should first attend at 12 weeks). She will advise about parent craft, exercises, aquanatal, feeding baby etc. Appointments only. On arriving home with your baby, the Midwife visits first of all, and later the Health Visitor. |
| Routine Immunisations |
| Childrens' vaccinations and tetanus, influenza, pneumonia etc. are organised by the practice nurses. |
| Travel Clinic |
| When travel vaccines are anticipated, please seek the advise of the practice nurse at least two months before you travel. Last minute travellers can not be accommodated, they will be directed to a specialist travel centre. Some supplies will be a prescription. Charges for some immunisations are made as they fall outside of the NHS.
N.B Malaria tablets are no longer available on the NHS-Malarone & Larium being via private prescription and the rest bought over the counter.

| Well Person Clinic |
| Available on request and offered to all new patients. Usually these are not more than 5 yearly. Only urine tests, blood pressure, cholesterol - if appropriate and body/mass index would be measured, against risk factors like smoking status etc. |
